When Alice Mushrooms started looking for a new subscription management platform, they needed to re-platform a few thousand subscribers.

Using Digital Punch Cards to 5x add-on revenue

With growth and retention being their highest priorities, the team at Alice Mushrooms was eager to dive into our Digital Punch Cards feature.

“We want to really lean hard into the digital punch card and give really great offerings that are only for subscribers, which include a bit of some exclusive merch for subscribers too, and really amazing rewards as they continue in their journey,” says Talya. 

Digital Punch Cards fulfilled the ultimate challenge when it came to their retention efforts— building more enthusiastic brand loyalty, with rewards that keep subscribers locked in and excited about their products, even when they have reasons to cancel (such as too much product).

“We want to make sure that they want to keep going because they want these rewards along the way.”

They’ve seen incredible results only a few months in, and they’re just getting started. Already, they’re looking for ways to utilize Stay features at greater capacity, tying their rewards into their customer portal banner ads, email, and cancel flows. 

“Once that road map is mapped out, we can create a graphic around that and plug that into the banner ad. That’s prime real estate.”

In addition to growth, Alice Mushrooms wanted a subscription management platform that could help them form a community that would rally around their brand. A community that would continue to love their products and share them with others. 

“Community is so pivotal to the success of a consumer brand at the moment. Within that, the community with the highest value is our subscribers. And so, Stay AI is really a tool that helps a brand like ours dial into our community, which is invaluable,” says Talya. 

Customers were excited to see the changes made once the brand migrated to Stay, but the impact was felt beyond the customer experience.
